Blanche Starfire is one of those old school 90’s ravers who never quite grew up. She was introduced to a new sound coming out of Germany and the UK that earned the name “Trance” the summer of 1998. As a Baby DJ she fell in love with artists like BT, Lange, Art of Trance, and all of the glorious traditional Progressive House Global Underground artists.
She went on to graduate in 2012 with a Recording Arts degree in Recording Arts from TRCOA. Since 2013, Blanche has been actively playing Trance and Prog in the Austin Texas underground scene. She has worked with many of the local crews (and organized her fair share) however Area 512 and Ambient Camping remain her life-long DJ crews.
In the latest chapter of her musical adventure, Blanche has turned her attention towards retail production. When she's not spinning tunes or crafting beats, you can catch Blanche hanging out on Discord, where she mods for a couple places offers demo feedback and production advice on several servers.
In the 28 years of her career in the Music Industry, Blanche has never swayed from the sounds that got her moving in the first place and set her soul on fire. When playing, expect to hear groovy sexy deep Progressive House, to Prog Tribal House, Breakbeats, Balearic House/Trance, Euphoric Trance, Epic Uplifting Trance and plenty of vocals and pretty girls singing about love.
And hey, if you're lucky, you might just catch her dropping some Dutch Big Room and Bootlegs when the sun starts peeking over the horizon at those legendary afterparties in the Tunnels.
