HIJK's introduction to DJ culture occurred when he attended his first rave at 12 years of age, where his older brother, DJ Prism One, performed. This underground experience profoundly impacted him, as he observed the sense of community and respect fostered by the rave culture. He was particularly impressed by Prism One's ability to control the dance floor with his impeccable track selection, and from that moment on, he aspired to become a DJ. To pursue his goal, HIJK saved up and purchased his first DJ setup at the age of 16 2 Tech MK2's. Prism one would send numerous records to HIJK through the post. He then exchanged his CD collection for vinyl records at a local record shop, enabling him to begin learning the art of DJing and building his bass bin. After years of practice and dedication, he explored various electronic music genres and discovered his affinity for drum and bass. He appreciated the diverse mixing techniques this genre offered and found his niche. Since then, HIJK has performed at numerous underground raves and shows in Boise, Idaho, consistently demonstrating his commitment to the craft through his distinctive track selection
