Dr. Uggist

Drum and Bass Producer/DJ hailing from Charlotte, NC. Trained as a pharmacist and scientist originally, Rob needed a creative outlet and eventually came back to music after growing up playing guitar, cello, and standup bass. Rob (Dr. uggist) blends orchestral and brass sounds with heavier tones of neuro as well as rollers and some dancefloor. Trained under multiple mentors including Protostar and Shadowstar, Rob found his music has an intersection between emotional weight and driving clinical rhythms.

Dr. Uggist has been released on North American Producer Showcase (NAPS) twice with reach release hitting the top 10 in drum and bass releases. Ganesha hit #36 in the hype charts. Rob has also worked with some heavy weight drum and bass producers/vocalists such as Messinian.
